GLAM-CYCLE
WELCOME TO OUR RECYCLING + UP-CYLCING PROGRAM!
We are so thrilled to be introducing this program to our eco-babes! We have taken steps to provide products that are sustainably packaged and eco-conscious! That being said… We have been working on ways we can help YOU reduce, reuse, and GLAM-CYCLE!
Considering the majority of our packaging is quality, heavy-wall glass, you should totally be reusing it! We don’t want perfectly reusable items going to waste! Our jars and bottles are great for so many different things and we want you to up-cycle as much as you can!
Let’s get the facts straight so we can all understand the importance of sustainable packaging and recycling!
What exactly does recycling mean :
Recycling: to properly dispose (recycle) of waste that can be reprocessed in the cyclic process.
Up-cycling: to make use of previously packaged goods or materials to serve further purpose.
Glam-Cycle: to make use of previously packaged goods in a super sparkly, glam, chic way! preferably makeup-oriented : )
Important Facts -
Imagine how much larger these numbers are now, a few years later, in our even faster-paced society. We challenge you to take the necessary steps to help lower your carbon footprint!
How do I do this? You ask…
- Support small business that are aware and conscious of their packaging and carbon footprint
- Make sure to always recycle ANY plastic packaging and plastic components! (Including: wrappers, plastic seals, plastic lids, mascara tubes, face lash containers, etc.)
- Reuse and Glam-Cycle any containers you see other purpose for (Example: glass jars, glass bottles, mascara wands, etc.)
- Be aware of what you consume! Buy less in plastic containers and stop buying plastic bags at the grocery store! Bring reusable bags and refuse single-use plastic as much as possible! Skip the plastic straws and cups!
Here's how we Glam-Cycle some of our post-product packaging!
Make sure to show us how you up-cycle your used product containers by tagging us @Glaminizers with #GlamCycle : )
